Also, Top Gear is indeed the car show that you were thinking about.  New series starts this week.

Oh, and the supermarket retailers have sparked off a new price war, but this time on consoles.  The PS3 is currently selling on an RRP of £249.99 (which after checking out excahnge rate at the time of writing is $416.65), and the same retailer that was selling Modern Warfare 2 for a ridiculously low price until christmas have this unit on sale for a week at £199.99 ($333.32).

They'e gone further with the Wii.  The Nintendo RRP is £179.99 ($299.98) including Sports and Sports Resort with motion controller - the standard box over here.  They decided to slash this price to a stupidly low £135 ($225) for the same week.

Now I have said previously that I never planned to own a Wii again, but I had to buy a box.  Its currently sat on my floor, still sealed, where it will remain for the next 5 weeks till the inevitable christmas shortages happen, and I will find some desperate parent willing to may me a nice £50 profit.  Then I go back in the New Year and pick up a limited edition Black Wii, just for the sake of it being a special edition.
