Thanks to our friends at PopCap Games, they've given us a few copies of their upcoming game release Peggle Nights for Microsoft Windows, their next awesome Peggle title. We've got four copies to give away in this forum contest, and all you have to do is answer this question (in the most creative method possible, funny, silly, serious, factual, whatever):
“What does peggle mean to you?”
Give us something creative, and you're in the random drawing for the game, four unique people will win.
We're giving away another four copies of Peggle Nights if you want a second way to win! Just listen to the TD Gaming Podcast – Episode 87.
C'mon, write 'em up!

What does Peggle mean to me? Two words: less sleep
At first glance, Peggle looks like about 5 minutes of fun. Interesting concept, but even animated Pachinko has got to get old….right? RIGHT?!
WRONG!
This easy-to-pickup game quickly sucked me into that dark place where you repeatedly find yourself saying “Just one more level and then I'll go to bed…really (I'm not kidding this time).” But, alas, I'd show up to work bleary-eyed the next morning struggling to not come down with a severe case of keyboard face.
Besides being addictive, Peggle is accessible for everyone in the family — and let's face it, sharing an addiction with your children can be very rewarding (there's probably a better way to say that). Friendly rivalries were formed, with lessons of sportsmanship being shared as we went. Of course, being the parent, I encouraged my kids to do their best with motivational phrases like “Is THAT all you've got?” and “HA! I made that level look so much easier than you did.” It's these life lessons that will allow them to succeed as adults.
But, really, the coolest thing about Peggle is that its name is almost Peg-leg….and who doesn't like a pirate?! Arrrrrgh.

Great response, jhartdude. You are so right about Peggle being a family game. My daughter plays the first version of peggle all the time on her Mac and every night since we have gotten a preview copy of Peggle Nights she sits down with us and plays. Since it is a Windows only game, at this point, we have to play on my computer because I dual boot my Mac.
Oh yeah, and my daughter is only 5 and she likes the game that much.

Yeah, it's quite a feat to keep both children and adults mezmerized by the same game — I have 3 girls ages 7, 9 and 12 and they all love it. I hadn't heard of the new Peggle coming out, so I'm sure my kids will be thrilled. I always suspected PopCap would make a follow-up due to Peggle's popularity…I'm kinda surprised it took this long.
Also, thanks for reading my e-mail on the podcast this week (I'm one of the infamous “Joe's”). I had mentioned GiantBomb as another podcast I listen too. It's fairly new, but the reason I enjoy it is because it's made up of my favorite ex-Gamespot podcasters (Jeff Gerstmann, Ryan Davis, Brad Shoemaker and Vinnie Caravella). I just wanted to give you a head's up since you guys said you enjoyed the Gamespot podcasts too. If you get some time, check out their website is too — it's basically a comprehensive wiki on all things gaming (in addition to their reviews, previews, etc).

Holy crap, see, I stopped listening to GameSpot when Gerstmann left, a podcast show takes on a life of its personalities, when those personalities leave, the show is at risk.

I'm with you — Jeff was the lifeblood over there and it's not nearly the same without him. Gamespot probably wishes they had a mulligan on that whole fiasco.

End result is this, the creme of the crop will rise to the top. You can get a person go, but they'll just grow from the experience and come back in another company and defeat you.

Hmmm… Peggle…
To me, Peggle means another game that will entertain the heck out of me and distract me from things I should be doing. I have heard awesome things about the original Peggle, but I never had the opportunity to play it. Unfortunately, there is no abundance of information about Peggle Nights online… If you guys could post some information on how it differentiates from the original, that'd be great! OH! And I FREAKING LOVE Galactic Civilizations II! You guys are the bomb! Thanks!

There isn't a lot of detail because we're not supposed to talk about the features, details and differences until they lift the silence. In essence, Popcap will publish us a press release, internally, and tell us when we can break our silence with a specific date. Upon receiving that date, rest assured, we'll be publishing the full review and press release one-minute after the restrictions are lifted.
Stay Tuned!

What does Peggle mean to me?
Peggle means to me what an elephant's trunk means to it.
What that means, I do not know, but I'm sure someone will find that logical. I've played Peggle once before, and I was pretty entertained. Honestly, Peggle reminds me of that game on the Price is Right, where the contestants drop the ball down the slot and it bounces off pegs..Hmm.. Pegs, Peggle… Anyways, I'd love to recieve a copy, but I'll live if I don't win.
Thanks guys!

What does Peggle mean to me at this precise moment in time?
It means I fall down, face first, unconscious to the floor upon realizing I have lost touch with my first go-to site of casual games. It means my fingers act of their own accord and type in the PopCap address and begin downloading the demo to my thumb brive before my brain figures out what's going on. It also means I begin watching the clock at work before lunchtime even arrives, waiting to get home and install it and revel in the mindless addictiveness that is sure to follow.

What does peggle mean to me?
Peggle – n. an addiction based solely on the random click of a mouse and a frustrating array of levels to induce an extreme lack of sleep.
v. to peggle - to constantly frustrate yourself with that same damn level for hours, just to get the high score. Use — I have been up all night peggling!!!
Seriously, I LOVE Peggle. I discovered it and thought.. oh.. this is different.. it might entertain me for a minute or two… but I was WRONG! I'm still playing it (though not as much now).. It seems I can't stop. I have forced my addiction onto multiple members of my family and also my 3 year old! He loves “winning the rainbow”… My dream since I first beat Peggle was to have another one! Oh how I can't wait! LONG LIVE PEGGLE!

“What does peggle mean to you?”
First of all, I kinda call it peggles instead of peggle. sounds more catchy for me i guess. To me peggles means a fun and much of an addicive game. its allso a competitive game you want to be the best peggler around and cant stand it if someone els has more luck then you.
When looking at peggles in a different way, peggels can also be some kind of disease or a virus, with specific symptoms and signs. this disease or virus is extremly contagious, infecting other hosts just by watching.
Or wait! maybe its not a disease or a virus at all eventhough peggles can lead to death as you want nothing els but to stay on peggles like a mindless zombie and ejoy the sounds in the game. Peggles can also be like a new drugs. once you start using/playing it, you want it more and more often and eventually you cant live without it. making it harder and harder to just leave it behind.
Well thats what peggles kinda means to me, it may sound somewhat overdramatic but i come up with this when i stop playing peggles and think about it for a moment
I wonder if there is someone immune to this…

Peggle means Pure Entertainment Game Giving Love Everywhere, or Please Enter Game Giveaway Like Everyone (well, maybe not this one…).
Anyway, peggle means pure bliss. Peggle is like a rainbow of happiness, with shinning lights, bouncing balls, fireworks, unicorns, flowers, dragons, Beethoven's music and above all that: EXTREME FEVER! Peggle, to me, is like a drug (a good one), it's like my gaming oxygen, it's like my wildest magical dreams, my everlasting sunshine of eternal joy.
I can't live without Peggle anymore, and I can't wait any longer for Peggle Nights!

Tonight was fairly busy, we're going to count the forum and e-mail contestants tomorrow, get 'em all bundled up and pick our 8 total winners and send it off to Popcap so the winners can get their Peggle Nights, which just went live a few hours ago.
Unfortunately, tomrorow was supposed to be their official launch date, but it was moved up a day, which was a little hectic for us. Winners will get an e-mail from us, then an e-mail from Popcap with their download keys and be mentioned on next weeks podcast.

Peggle to me (this may sound cliched) means FUN. I've spent countless amounts of time shooting balls at pegs, then screaming at my computer screen, in fact more than I would have liked to. Peggle is my anti-LOST addiction, and LOST is my anti-Peggle addiction.
