If you're at all considering switching from something like Tribal Leatherworking to Elemental Leatherworking try to do it before level 50 as the “unlearn” cost is 25G and goes up after level 49 I think.

Thanks to one of the WoW patches you can unlearn a specialization like this without being “stuck.” After I re-spec'd as Feral the spirit isn't as useful as the agility I'll get from Elemental.

Also, you unlearn it from the one that you learned it from NOT from the one that initially gave you the quest. For Horde, that's out in Stranglethorn Vale, not Feralis as I thought (big difference when you;re flying around the world)
