It makes perfect sense that most of what I post here is available from other sources, tom's hardware is not exactly the place to get the latest news. Still, because they're hardware oriented, they might pick up some different stories that might not be covered by your sources.

I mean hey, the more varied the sources the better.

 I obviously loved it. I really hope things are good now with their kid, I remember that this was their major concern.

Anyway, back to the news, we're starting with the Pikko server topic:

** you don't have permission to see this link **. What I find interesting about this software is that while it can (technically) be used by any game client software, it was initially intended for Unity. So, finger crossed for some indie MMOs.

Speaking of MMOs, two of them are now offering a free-mium option: ** you don't have permission to see this link **. I guess the margin is slowly diminishing with the old subscription-based MMOs, especially with the invasion of free MMOs from the Far East ;)

I'm going to start with the power of communities: ** you don't have permission to see this link **. This means one thing: Skyrim will have a pretty long life. I am curious if the devs/publishers will see this as an issue when i comes to launching a new title in the series.
