Due to a malicious trojan virus that infected my desktop, this week’s podcast is delayed, perhaps indefinitely. The podcast was recorded, but there’s no way to edit it while the PC is in this state.
Worst comes to worst, a new podcast will be recorded next week.
This week’s episode of Gaming Podcast features the first news of 2019 for the podcast, and there’s some juicy items to discuss. There’s no Gaming Flashback, but there is more discussion of the latest Civilization VI: Gathering Storm civs to be discussed.

This week we’ve got the community trivia questions for Don and Derrick along with plenty of commentary around the questions themselves. While we did spend a portion of the show on the trivia, we were able to hit some news and such as well. We were able to get Jonah on the show in his hotel to help out with some of the questions and news.
Thanks to all that have listened up through episode 200 and for all those comments we’ve received. We never thought we’d actually have people write in when we started, so this is awesome.
There’s a ton of discussions, such as Xbox Cloud Gaming will reportedly let players stream any game in their library from November, Russia straight-up bans Discord for enabling ‘terrorist and extremist purposes’, Killing Floor 3‘s dynamic tech makes zed heads ‘flower’ when you shoot them, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will get a Nuketown map, Brazil lifts ban on X following Elon Musk’s compliance with Supreme Court orders, the DOJ may break up Google, Terrifier 3 (the indie horror film that managed to make 10x its budget while Joker: Folie à Deux flails in the water) is getting a videogame, the current head of Xbox Game Studios, Alan Hartman, is to retire at the end of November, with Rare studio boss Craig Duncan taking over and the official Nintendo Museum appears to be emulating SNES games on a Windows PC, which is slightly embarrassing.

You know, you could send somebody the raw mp3, and have faith they’ll edit it to your liking :D.
The problem is that the raw MP3 is inaccessible.

it’s just a pc; pop out the HDD, put it in a friend’s system and presto, access to the file 🙂
Unless it’s a laptop, then popping out the HDD is a bit more complicated, then finding either an HDD enclosure or a laptop with a second unused cable … which is not that ‘presto’ 🙁
