  1. Great podcast. Long time listener, first time caller.

I don’t think we’ll see new consoles before 2013. I think we’ll see innovation with system features and interaction similar to the NXE change last year.

The big 3 need to make their money back on their R&D costs, and allow the software developers to make their money on developing games. I’m sure they don’t want to learn to code for new consoles yet.

Part 2 (or 3?) The Iphone is definitely a viable handheld gaming platform. It’s proven to be for more than just the technophile (sp?) gadgetfan type people. Big developers like EA and Gameloft are putting stuff out there, I can see this taking off even bigger than it already is.

    Oh, there you are Perry!

  3. The last remnant i did not finish not due to the game being hard but due to the game being the worst game of all time, i’m a big ff fan and like square enix and i was so excited there was a square enix game with a MA rating……RANT FOLLOWING AFTER…….. This game is horrible, FFXII on the PS2 has better graphics, The story is stupid, The dialog is r3tarted eg quote, at the start of the game you fall in a cave with this warrior chick…..she explains we are in a cave. and Rush says ” Cave?!?!”…… noob. Now i express the r3tarted dialog further after a 5-8 min conversation with the warrior chick in the cave…(alone) She asks Rush for his name, he looks both way and says…”me?!?!”. but thats not all whats screwed with the game, the most screwed is the battle system/gameplay, When your get a enemy encounter you are required to selected an attack with the A button (there is no chioce of not attacking) then you watch the battle and you win…. thats it you have no control. I couldnt even try to loss, all battles end in victory even if your main charater dies. Note: me and tom conpleted the the game from start to 1st boss defeated with pressing the A button 11 times. and last of all i paid $120 for this game!!!!!!!!!!…..RANT Over =/ =p
