This week we’re reporting some news but we’re really raging on some World of Warcraft expansion rumors that raise the heat in the studio. Is it going to be worth it? Does it matter if you finished the last expansion? What exactly do you consider an expansion? So many questions. The news includes:
Quake Live Getting Subscription OptionThis weeks gaming flashback is a little adventure game known as Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Cartridge and our question of the week is simple: Will the World of Warcraft expansion get you to re-buy into the WoW experience?
The landmark episode was recorded two weeks ago, but the audio was absolutely terrible, with over a half-an-hour having to be excised. It’s a pity, because it featured both Videogame Roundtable originals Paul Nowak and Jordan Lund guest-hosting for a massive (for this podcast) five-man crew.
To make up for it, Jonah and T.J. recorded a half-hour discussion of upcoming games that they might check out at E3.
There won’t be a podcast for another 3 weeks, until E3 is over, so for now. Enjoy the podcast, and sorry for the middle hour — the audio cleans up in the last part.
Paul is back from being deathly ill, and joins a half-asleep Jonah and Scott, where he and Scott try to have better timing. There’s no Gaming Flashback this week but plenty of weird news.
