  1. I consume most of my media via streaming websites. Although the reason why I’m an early adopter of the technology is when i was in college I had to choose between Cable TV or Internet, so I chose internet. I found that abc.com was streaming TV shows and other not so legal websites. Ever since then I’ve been completely happy watching all of my TV and movies online and for free. I actually wish they could figure out a system similar to this for digital distribution of music and eventually video games. I’d be inclined to finally buy an ipod if I could down load my music for free by watching advertisements or doing a few legitimate surveys.

  3. Yeah i agree that wireless connection could affected the battery life of the product, which can be a real issue. The Pocket PC i use in the field at work (TDS Recon), gets a battery life of 30hrs+, once your running a GIS app your looking at 8-10hours, & once you recieving a GPS signal your looking at 2-5hours on the device which can be an issue. The same thing goes to a portable gaming device you dont want a battery life of 3 hours, the device needs to have a battery life 8+hrs to be used when travelling for long periods of time. thx for the podcast Cheers
